Introduction & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all Android applications published on the Google Play Store by KreedoMarvel (also referred to as "we", "our", or "us"), developed by Aayush Mathur. The apps currently covered are:
- WordNerd — Vocabulary Flashcards (com.kreedoMarvel.wordnerd)
- ActOut: Desi Charades
- Tick Talk Tambola

What Data Is Collected — By App
Below is a complete, honest breakdown of every SDK and data type in each app.

Your study progress (SM-2 intervals, ease factors, review dates), streak count, bookmarks, personal notes, mnemonics, daily goal, notification preferences, and premium status are stored only on your device using Room (SQLite) and Android DataStore. This data is never uploaded to any server. It is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app. |

What We Do Not Collect
Across all three apps, we never collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials
- Your precise GPS location or IP address
- Camera, microphone, or photo library data
- Contacts, call logs, or SMS
- Payment card or banking information (all payments go through Google Play)
- Any content you write, save, or type in the apps

To control ad personalisation on your device: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation. On Android 12+, you can also reset your Advertising ID or delete it entirely.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR — EEA & UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following legal bases apply to how data is processed through our apps:
- Legitimate interests — Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are used to improve app performance and fix crashes. This processing is in the legitimate interest of providing a stable, improving product.
- Consent — AdMob personalised advertising relies on your consent via your device's ad personalisation setting. You may withdraw consent at any time by opting out of personalised ads in your Android settings.
- Contract performance — Google Play Billing data is processed to fulfil your purchase of the Platinum unlock.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

We aim to respond to all privacy-related requests within 5 business days.
Data Retention & Deletion
Local app data (WordNerd): All study progress, streaks, bookmarks, and notes are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data. We cannot recover it once deleted.
Firebase data: Crash reports and analytics events are retained by Google per their standard data retention policies (typically 90 days for Crashlytics, configurable for Analytics). This data is not linked to any identifiable user on our end.
AdMob data: Ad impression and interaction data is managed by Google per their advertising data policies.
Payment data: We retain no payment records. All transaction history is managed by Google Play.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has used our apps in a way that has resulted in personal data collection, please contact us at kreedo.tech@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action promptly.
Security
Because we do not transmit personal data to our own servers, the attack surface is minimal. Local data in WordNerd (progress, notes, preferences) is stored in the app's private sandboxed storage on your device, inaccessible to other apps.
For data processed by Firebase and AdMob, Google's enterprise-grade security infrastructure applies. No electronic system is 100% secure, but we have taken reasonable steps to minimise risk within our control.
California Residents (CCPA)
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information.

Do-Not-Track & Advertising Controls
Our apps do not respond to browser-level Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals. However, you can control ad-related tracking at the device level:
- Android 12 and above: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete Advertising ID
- Android 11 and below: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation
Opting out means AdMob will serve non-personalised ads rather than no ads. Purchasing Platinum in WordNerd removes all ads entirely.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when we add new apps, integrate new SDKs, or when applicable laws change. The "Updated" date in the navigation bar reflects the most recent revision.
For material changes (new types of data collection, new third-party SDKs), we will post a notice on the relevant Play Store listing. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
